HOTEL RESERVATIONS
Attendees will be entitled to the following special convention hotel rate.
Standard room rate will be $159.00 Single or double.
Note: These rates do not include applicable tax.
Parking will be free in the convention center parking lot behind the hotel.

Remember we have limited number of rooms blocked at this convention rate.
Rate is available until the block is filled or until June 9, 2025.

There are two versions:

Each Bus Captain will have a list of all the folks that have signed up for that day's tour. No tickets are necessary for the Tuesday tour.

Branson Scenic Railway – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
This one-hour and 45-minute excursion traverses the Ozark's rolling hills, spectacular trestles, and deep tunnels that are not accessible by other means of transportation. Our vintage passenger coaches offer vistas through wide windows and panoramic views in three dome cars.
Lunch will be provided by the local subway restaurant with the choice of Italian ,Ham & Cheese, Turkey or Vegetarian sandwiches.

The afternoon tour will get you back by 4:30 so you can pick up your registration packets and check-in your auction items. The Bus Captains will have lists of those registered for the layout tours.

The Kansas City Streetcar Vehicle Maintenance Facility (VMF)
The Singleton Yard is located just east of the River Market area in the Columbus Park neighborhood of northeast Kansas City.
You will be dropped off at Union Station where you will have an hour to view their HO layout and walk around the station.
Registration - 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm
ARRIVAL DAY. Check-in begins, pick up your registration packet for the convention. We will continue to have the best N Scale Vehicles contest run by Carter Fritschle with onsite voting. The Reinhart team will be handing out all the pre-ordered convention shirts. You will need to order early to ensure you are getting the shirt and size you want. In addition, you will be able to view this year’s raffle prizes. Check with Alex early to get your tickets. Fred and his team will have new convention special runs available. These are all limited runs, so be sure to check them out during registration.
AUCTION Check-in - 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm
Auction check-in runs concurrently with registration activities today, for the annual Live Auction that will be held Thursday evening. Each Primary Registrant at the convention may enter two items in the auction Wednesday during Convention registration. Check in will be on the Upper level Ballroom.
Model Contest Check-in – 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm
Check on the convention web site for this year's categories and viewing. You will be able to download the rules and contest entry forms.
First place plaques will be given out at the banquet based on popular vote.

The Online Modelers Meetup – 6:30 to 7:30 pm
Many of us are taking part in different online groups to talk about our N scale hobby. Here's your chance to put a face to the screen name you have been talking to.
Welcome Reception - 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm
Join us at the Micro-Trains Line Reception for Dessert, Coffee and renewal of old friendships. Since the 2012 Convention, we have used this gathering to hold a NSE member's meeting. This is your chance to meet your hosts for the week and ask questions. Thank you, Micro Train Lines, for providing this reception!
Thursday, JUNE 26, 2025 – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Today we board buses to take a tour of the BNSF Railway logistical park. Once we get there we'll pick up some tour guides that will explain what's happening.
For lunch we head back to Jack Stacks freight house In Kansas City MO OK this is a different location than we had in 2016.
After lunch we'll head over to the built in, Grandview and Kansas City railroad and all volunteer museum and railway.
Missouri Star Quilt – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Quilt Town U.S.A.
This tour will be SEW exciting for anyone who enjoys Quilting, Sewing, Crafting or just strolling through an old time mid-west town. There are 15 themed shops filled with fabrics, notions, yarn, gifts and plenty of food,too! 8 eateries grace the quaint little town of Hamilton including a brewery, cafe, bake shop, general store and Kathy’s Kitchen an all American Restaurant where you can eat on your own at your own pace during your visit. For the men there is even a Men’s Den with huge cushion chairs, pool table and more. The town has become known as the “Disneyland of Quilting” and a dream for anyone who enjoys the Hobby of Quilting, Embroidering, Sewing, Knitting, Crocheting, Crafting or just having a great time!
Plus, Missouri Star Quilt will be treating everyone to a welcoming gift.
LIVE Auction – 6:30 pm
Auction Viewing 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm
The viewing of auction items will be between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Then the fun starts at 6:30 with the live auction. Bring your auction paddle, a good sense of humor and a bid on some of the coolest items around.
Model Contest Viewing – 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm
This is your last chance to enter your model in this year's contest. Be sure to stop by to see what has been entered. Good luck to all.

Public Show Noon – 4:00 pm
This is your chance to view and buy the best in N Scale. There will be over 120 tables loaded with items for purchase from our members and dealers this year. This is also where our manufacturers bring out their latest products for you to see. It's a great time to ask the questions you have been waiting to ask. This is the time to check out all the N Scale products before we open the tables to the public at noon.

This year we have the NRail organization coordinating many groups from all of the country to provide the best in operating layouts. This hotel provides a great opportunity this year with additional areas outside the main ballroom which will allow more layouts. Information on the registration procedures for the layouts is available on the convention website.

Railfanning 9:00 am – 13:00
Last time we were here Nathan Chidester, the local real fan blogger and railfan expert took a small bus on a daylong tour. Nathan has offered again to take a bus out for the day and is working on some ideas on where you can view the most traffic. This was a real treat the last time, but the size of the bus will be small and will sell out rapidly so don't miss it sign up when you can.

Convention Banquet – 6:30 pm Doors open, program begins at 7:00 pm
Join us in the Ballroom for the highlight of all the convention events – the banquet. Wonderful food, great fun, Awards to our members, model contest awards and the ever-popular raffle. A Special Micro-Trains Line gift car is offered to those who are paid attendees for the banquet.
