Monday June 15th - pre-Convention day
- 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum, McMinnville, OR
- Home of the biggest airplane of them all, Howard Hughes' 'Spruce Goose' plus a wide variety of missile, airplane and helicopter exhibits.
- A selection of other recommended activities are also offered for you to pursue on your own.
Tuesday June 16th - pre-Convention day
- 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.Oregon Coast Railroad Excursion
- Enjoy the beautiful Oregon Coast riding behind a 1910 Heisler Steam Locomotive along Tillamook Bay and the ocean. Lunch and a Tillamook cheese factory tour are also included.
- A selection of other recommended activities are also offered for you to pursue on your own.
Wednesday June 17th - Convention Opens
Arrival Day, and the official start of the convention. We have activities happening throughout the day.
- 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm - Registration - Check in begins in the Mt. St Helens Ballroom.
- Pick up your registration package.
- 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm - Auction Check-in
- Two silent auctions were held, complementing the traditional Live Auction on Thursday evening.
The first of the Silent Auctions followed the Micro-Trains reception
while the second was during the Thursday Live Auction.
- 2:00 pm to 5:00pm - Model Contest Check-In
- Winning results are now on display at the Model Contest page.
The winners were announced at Sunday’s breakfast.
- 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm – Welcome Reception
- The N Scale Collector & Micro Trains Line reception for Dessert, Coffee and a chance to meet your hosts for the week.
This included the first of the Silent Auctions.

- This tour package includes three premier home N-scale layouts in the Portland area. The same tour is offered in the morning and again in the afternoon.

- This tour package includes three premier home N-scale layouts in the Portland area. The same tour is offered in the morning and again in the afternoon.
- 12:00 pm to 3:30 pm - Micro-Brewery Tour
- Portland is the new micro-brew capital. Learn about the micro-brewing process and enjoy microbrew samples from among hundreds of locally produced varieties.
Thursday June 18th - Convention Day

- Viewing of auction items begins at 3:00 pm and the fun starts at 6:00 pm.
Bring your auction paddle, a good sense of humor and bid on some of the coolest items around.

- Enjoy the spectacular Columbia River Gorge and majestic Mt. Hood all on one tour.
- 8:00 am to 12:30 pm – Prototype Tour – Local Prototype Railroad and Brooklyn Roundhouse
- Tour of a local working short line railroad shop and yard, and also a visit to the former Southern Pacific Brooklyn Roundhouse,
home to two classic Northern class steam locomotives – the SP&S 700 and the SP 4449.
- 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm – Prototype Tour – Local Prototype Railroad and Brooklyn Roundhouse
- Tour of a local working short line railroad shop and yard, and also a visit to the former Southern Pacific Brooklyn Roundhouse,

Friday June 19th - Convention Day
Clinics, Contests, Events, Extra Fare events
- 9:00 am – 2:00 pm - SWAP-A-RAMA
- This is your chance to view and buy the best in N scale.
There will be over 100 tables loaded with items from our members and dealers.
This is also where our manufacturers bring out their latest products for you to see.
It’s a great time to ask the questions you have been waiting to ask.
- 10:00 am – 3:00 pm - Clinics
- Beginning today the clinic schedule will feature some of the most talented N-Scalers sharing their experience and skills across a wide range of interests.
Whenever possible, these clinics will include hands-on activities.
- Extra Fare Events
- 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm - Mt. Hood Railroad Excursion
- This tour will take you up the scenic Columbia River Gorge to Hood River for an evening ride on the Mt. Hood Railroad.
The Mt. Hood Railroad runs south from Hood River up the north slope of Mt. Hood to scenic Parkdale, a rural community among the fruit orchards.
Dinner will be served during the layover at Parkdale as a "western style meal" featuring barbecue with all the fixin's.
- 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm - Zoo Train Excursion
- Enjoy an evening at the Oregon Zoo, get your dinner at the Elephant Plaza and ride on the historic Oregon Zoo Railway,
along with some special tours of the Zoo Railway’s backshops. And, of course, you’ll get to visit with the animals.
Saturday June 20th - Convention Day
Layouts, Clinics, Contests, Events, Extra Fare events
- 10:00 am – 4:00 pm - PUBLIC TRAIN SHOW - admission $7, FREE to registered attendees
- NTRAK modules will be set up in the Ballroom.
- 10:00 am – 3:00 pm - Clinics
- Continuing today, the clinic schedule will feature some of the most talented N-Scalers sharing their experience and skills across a wide range of interests.
Whenever possible, these clinics will include hands-on activities. Full details of Clinics will be added as they are scheduled.
- 12:00 pm to 3:00pm - Model Contest: Viewing and Voting
- Modeling Contest entries are judged and voted upon today. Make sure you see them!
The winners were announced at Sunday’s breakfast.
- 7:00 pm - end - CONVENTION BANQUET
- The grand finale of an exciting week of N Scale and Oregon! (Micro-Trains Line Banquet car included)
